Spalding man charged with murder

A man has been charged with murder after a woman’s body was found at a Spalding property earlier this week.

Brian Simpson, of Nene Court in Spalding, is set to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Monday (December 3).

It comes after Lincolnshire Police found the body of Kristine Sparane, 37, after they forced their way into a property off Winsover Road on Tuesday night.

Police have been searching the scene since.

Tonight (Saturday, November 30), police released a statement saying: “We can confirm Brian Simpson of Nene Court in Spalding has been charged with murder.

“The 64-year-old will appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court on Monday, December 3.”

An appeal has been launched to raise funds for Kristine’s five-year-old daughter.
