Spalding Gymnastics Club’s girls are Euro stars with 100-plus medal haul

The amazing girls from Spalding Gymnastics Academy won more than 100 medals as they played host to another top event at their Cradge Bank base.

This time Spalding welcomed Arabian Gymnastic Club from Bletchley ran their annual European competition.

Gymnasts of all abilities took part, from beginners to the advanced, and were rewarded with medals if they placed in the top four of their age group.

All competitors also earned certificates for taking part, as well as other little gifts and presents.

Throughout the day the atmosphere was terrific, something that was helped by music and the encouragement of everyone in the audience.

On the day, Spalding’s young gymnasts performed outstandingly well.

They managed to secure medals in every round, claiming more than 100 gold, silver, bronze and fourth place medals.
