Soul Train rolls back into town

All aboard The Soul Train as it steams back into Spalding.

After a triumphant visit previously, it will be back at The South Holland Centre on Saturday, March 25.

A host of soul, Motown and disco is set to get you up and dancing with fantastic performers.

And it’s all for a good cause with a share of the profits being donated to charity SENSE.

A spokesman for the event said: “Soul Train will again soon steam into Spalding and on board will be a fine feast of soulful gems.

“Last year was sold out at South Holland Centre and this year all their shows so far have sold out too – so looks like another big night.

“Harking back to the wonderful days when the dance floor was king, the show features a fun presentation of 60s and 70s soul classics.

“From early soul days of Tamla Motown, Stax and Atlantic records though to disco and beyond as the show brings on the good times.

“Featured in a fun feel good production are classic hit songs by – Stevie Wonder, Isley Brothers, Supremes, Gladys Knight, O’Jays, Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin, Ike and Tina Turner, Donna Summer, Candi Staton, Whitney Houston, Billy Ocean, Lionel Richie, Tavares and many more great artists that still keep us singing and dancing.

“Show producer and performer Wayne Kennedy goes back to his roots having sold well over one million concert tickets for his theatre shows.

“We promise wonderful memories and its always a fun night out.”

Tickets are £22 and available from www.SoulTrain.org.uk and www.facebook.com/soultrainshowuk
