Smoothie does it at fitness show

Be confident, be happy, be healthy, be inspired – find time for yourself by spending a few hours at the Health and Fitness Show 2015.

The show at Spalding’s South Holland Centre is being organised by Give It Some Fizz and sponsored by the Spalding and South Holland Voice.

Throughout the day there will be the chance to wander around a variety of stands and stalls, watch demonstrations and even partake of some pampering yourself.

There will also be the chance to use pedal power to make a healthy drink on the “smoothie bike”.

The bike, being taken along by South Hoilland District Council, has a blender attached so ingredients are mixed as you pedal – creating a tasty treat while you exercise!

In the morning, Janet Gill will be introducing FitSteps – the latest dance fitness craze – and you can join in too.

Tracey Vowels, of Spalding’s Fitness Company, will be demonstrating a step class and a Nifty Fifties class, and in the afternoon there will be a demonstration by Padma Yoga Studio.

Exhibitors include Slimming World, Tonic Health, 1Life, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, Heroes Gym and Give It Some Fizz Sports, Fitness and Education.

Zoe Myall, of Give It Some Fizz, said: “I’m really excited about the event.

“The idea is to show what the area has on offer to help people be confident, be happy, be healthy and be inspired.

“It doesn’t matter if you have never done any form of exercise. There are so many ways of looking after yourself. I am thrilled we have some of the best names in the business joining us for the day.”
