Shoppers help Long Sutton church

Shoppers have helped raise more than £800 for a good cause in their community.

By using their dividend card at Long’s Sutton Lincolnshire Co-op food store, they have helped staff raise £847, which has been handed over to “Community Champions” from Christ Church Parish Church Council.

A spokesman for the Co-op said: “I believe the church is going to be putting the money towards converting a brick building into a toilet with full disabled facilities.”
