Seven fire crews were called to building ablaze

Seven fire crews were called to a building on fire in Gedney Drive End yesterday evening.

The blaze on Pit Lane was reported at 6.35pm on Saturday, August 7.

Crews from Long Sutton, Spalding, Kirton, Donington, Grantham, Crowland and Boston were all in attendance.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue said: “Last night at approx. 18:35 we were called to a building fire on Pit Lane, Gedney Drove End, Spalding.”
