Serious injury in RTC

A road traffic incident that left one person with serious injuries led to the closure of a Spalding Common junction for nearly five hours on Tuesday evening (January 16).

Two vans and a car were involved in the incident which occurred around 4.30pm on the A1175’s junction with Littleworth Drove.

One person was taken to hospital with what the Lincolnshire Police described as “serious” injuries.

Another person was treated for minor injuries by an attending ambulance.

The road was re-opened at 9.15pm.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information to come forward. Ring 101 and quote ref 302 of 16/1.
