Saturday football: Pinchbeck stay clear with routine win, Spalding and Holbeach games postponed

Pinchbeck United extended their unbeaten run in ChromaSport UCL Division One with a 3-0 win over Thrapston Town on Saturday – but both Spalding United and Holbeach United saw their games postponed.

The Knights cruised to a 3-0 win over lowly Thrapston at the Sir Halley Stewart Playing Field, with Tom Sergeant, Nick Bishop and Liam Ogden all netting.

The victory keeps Ian Dunn’s side seven points clear at the top of the table.

Meanwhile, Spalding’s game at Carlton Town and Holbeach’s trip to Daventry Town were both off because of waterlogged pitches.

In the ChromasSport PDFL, Moulton Harrox were 3-0 winners at Whittlesey Athletic in the President Premier Shield.

In the Premier Division, Holbeach Reserves lost 2-1 at home to Ketton.

Down in Division One, Moulton Harrox Reserves thumped Langtoft Reserves 10-0 in the PFA Challenge Cup, while Crowland Town drew 2-2 with Oundle Town in the league.

Long Sutton won 2-1 at Thorney in the PFA Senior Trophy.

More to follow throughout the week.
