Santa all fired up for Christmas

Santa linked up with Spalding Fire Crews last week to meet children in the town.

He also helped raise over £1,000 for the Firefighters Charity at Spalding Fire Station.
Along with helpers and elves he was able to speak with several hundred young visitors.
Santa told fire staff that Lego and headphones were amongst the most popular requests with iPads and phones as a close second, although some of the other unusual things included a baby sister, three goats and a ‘real’ dinosaur.
Spalding fire crew member Andy Brutnell was on hand to guide the youngsters through the grotto
Other members of the emergency services brought vehicles and there was a chance to take a close look.
A spokesman for the fire service said: “Santa and the Spalding crew would like to thank everyone who attended and supported the event, and wish them all a very happy and safe Christmas.”
