This Friday is Comic Relief Red Nose Day and like every year that’s gone before, there will be a whole lot of fun fundraising going on.
One group that will be out in force is the Spalding and District U3A (University of the Third Age).
Members will be outside The Red Lion at Market Place in Spalding on Friday from 11am to 1pm, collecting for the charity with a show.
Performers include semi-professional four-piece band, a pensioner’s disco-dancing display which includes a 94 year-old, and a participant recovering from a broken back.“ The rest of the group will be astounding all with their beauty and amazingly daring displays whilst singing and dancing.” said a spokesman.
