Puzzle trail for Spalding game

Take part in a free interactive game on the streets of Spalding later this week.

Based on an ‘escape room’ type theme, the Spalding Street Seekers game will be held for the first time on Thursday at 9am.

The game will also repeat on Thursday, November 5 and Saturday, November 14 and is free to take part in.

Participants will be able to solve puzzles using 3D printed objects.

“We have created a free game funded by Active Lincolnshire that people can play in Spalding town centre,” said Laura Mabbutt, part of the Transported Arts Project.

Laura and fellow artist Kathleen Smith created the game and made the objects, including a special medal for those who take part.

They were commissioned with funding from Active Lincolnshire and the game will give people the chance to get active outside after such a long spell of lockdown earlier this year.

People can book a free space for each of the three days and further details can be found on a Facebook event page the duo have set up for the game.

There are a limited number of medals for those taking part, so pre-booking is essential.
