Pride of South Holland awards this weekend

The great and the good will gather on Sunday for the Pride of South Holland Awards 2023.

For the last few months we’ve been inundated with nominations for those people you feel should receive recognition for their work in the community.
The judges had the unenviable task of whittling that down to a shortlist, and at the South Holland Centre from 2.30pm on Sunday the winners will be announced.
A special celebrity has been arranged to hand out the awards while there will also be performances from Diamondz Dance and a welcome by the 2430 (Holbeach) Squadron of the RAF Air Cadets.
Organiser Jan Whitbourn said: “It has been my goal to ensure that the quality of each subsequent event has been better than the previous one and I believe I certainly have achieved that again this year.
“Once again, this year, the calibre and quantity of nominees have increased and selecting the winners has been a challenge.
“I am extremely grateful for the support that I have received from the sponsors without whom this event could not take place.
“It is a pleasure, as always, being part of this process”
Tickets for the event will be ready for collection in reception on Friday and Saturday a few remain available.
