Praise for little litter pickers

Two youngsters have been out and about picking up litter in their local area.

Siblings Shae (7) and Faith Gresswell (8) recently took it upon themselves to clear up the West Elloe Avenue roundabout and the alleyway connecting to Willesby Road near their Spalding home.

The pair attend Spalding Parish Primary School.

Dad Simon Gresswell said: “They found some litter picking sticks in our garage and asked if they could go out and use them. Between them they filled two bags with discarded litter.

“They received many thanks and praise from local residents on the way.”

Pictured left are brother and sister Shae and Faith Gresswell who picked up two bags’ worth of rubbish on a clean up near their home.
