‘Poorer place’ if not for our radio station

Spalding Voice readers appear to really appreciate the work being done to make life better in South Holland judging by the amount of nominations already received in the Pride of South Holland awards.

This week’s nomination is for the Community Project category – sponsored by district and county councillor Angela Newton.

Judges of the category will be looking for groups that are run for the benefit of residents in South Holland.

This week’s nomination is for Tulip Radio, Spalding’s very own community radio station.

It has been nominated by Matt Baker, who had this to say: “Tulip Radio strives to keep the entirety of south Lincolnshire up to date with what’s going on – whilst entertaining.

“It has a great range of music and topics covered and gives experience to those who may have struggled to gain experience elsewhere.

“Without Tulip Radio, south Lincolnshire would be a poorer place to be.”

If, like Matt, you know a person or project which deserves to win a Pride of South Holland Award, nominate them now by using the form below and following the instructions. Nominations sent without supporting information will not be considered.
