Police investigating cause of Spalding house fire

Police are investigating the cause of a house fire in Spalding on Thursday night. (March 10)

All four occupants – two adults and two children – got out of the house in Medina Walk safely.

Lincolnshire Police said: “A 23-year-old man suffered from smoke inhalation and was treated at Pilgrim Hospital, Boston. The second adult and children were not injured.

“Currently the cause of the blaze has not been established and we have commenced an investigation supported by the Fire and Rescue Service.”

The fire, which did not result in serious damage to the house, was reported to police just before 8pm.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to call police on 101, quoting incident number 394 of March 10.
