Police appeal over two incidents

Police are appealing for information after two incidents where women were asked to get in a car.

The incidents happened in Spalding and Boston, the incident in the former being reported in Halmer Gate at 2pm.

A spokesman for South Holland Police, said: “We are appealing for witnesses to two incidents in which men in cars have asked women to get in to their vehicles.

“Both incidents happened yesterday (Monday September 7).

“At around 2pm, a woman was approached on Halmer Gate, Spalding by an Asian male driving a white car, who asked her to get into the vehicle.

“Fifty minutes later, another woman was approached on Tytton Lane West, Boston, by a white male in a grey car, who made the same request.

“Neither woman entered the vehicles and there was no attempt to physically take hold of them, but clearly these are both concerning incidents.”
