Pinchbeck road to be restored

Lincolnshire County Council’s road repair team are heading to Pinchbeck to fix a road first closed in June.
Anglian Water has completed its work after a sinkhole appeared across both the footpath and the road in Enterprise Way.
The rebuild will start at 7am on Monday and should end by 8pm Friday.
There will be a diversion into Spalding Road, Wardentree Lane and Benner Road. All access will be maintained for businesses.
“It is a relief that our team can now get on with the urgent job of repairing this road and returning the people in this area of Pinchbeck back to normality in time for Christmas,” said Coun Richard Davies, executive member for highways.
“We will do everything possible to try to complete these works in that timeframe. I’d like to thank everyone affected for their patience,” he added, saying closure could not be avoided.
