Two petitions have been launched calling for speeding measures to be brought in on Spalding roads.
The separate petitions on www.change.org have been launched by Jack McLean calling for a speed camera to be placed on Winsover Road/Bourne Road and “traffic calming build-outs” to be installed in Pennygate.
The Winsover Road petition states over the possibility of installing a speed camera: “So far we have heard there are not suitable locations for one and also that there is not the evidence.
“The latest data we have been offered suggests 27 per cent of drivers along Winsover Road are driving in excess of 30mph.
“We are confident that a suitable location can be found.”
