PDFL round-up: Spot-on Dec keeps flawless Moulton Harrox on right track

Declan Earth’s goal kept Moulton Harrox unbeaten in the The Peterborough Senior Cup as they completed the group stage with a 1-0 win at FC Peterborough on Saturday.

A second-half penalty from the striker made it three wins from as many games and set up a last eight clash with Eye United at Knight Street on Saturday (2pm).

Also still alive in the competition are Tydd, who saw off Thorpe Wood Rangers 3-2 on Saturday to reach the quarters.

A Bradley Easey double and a further goal from Jamie Steward got the job done for them and set up a trip to Peterborough North End Sports on Saturday (2pm).

Staying in the Senior Cup, Pinchbeck United Reserves picked up a 2-1 derby win at Crowland Town Reserves.

But Long Sutton Athletic signed off with a defeat as they went down 3-2 at Stamford Belvedere.

Goals from Brendan Burton and Daniel Monaghan weren’t enough for the Magpies.

In the Junior Cup, Long Sutton Athletic Reserves were handed a home reverse by Ramsey Town.

Myles Roberts and Justice Glover netted for the visitors at London Road.

Meanwhile, Sutton Bridge United slipped up 2-1 at Cambridge FC.

Joe Sutton was the scorer for the visitors, but Ethan Davies and Lass Wuruyai netted to see the hosts home.

There were goals galore at The Grange as Long Sutton Athletic A and Netherton United A cooked up a seven-goal thriller.

Sutton ended up losing 4-3, but goals from Ashley Allen (2) and Ethan Waring kept them very much in the game.

The ball found the net six times as Holbeach Bank hosted Park Farm Pumas in the Minor Cup – but it was the away side who did all of the damage.

Indeed, a Mike Dandrilli treble ensured that Bank were beaten 6-0.
