PDFL round-up: Harrox’s winning streak comes to a shock end, Crowland Reserves beaten 20-0

Moulton Harrox’s amazing unbeaten run is over after a shock 3-1 loss at Leverington Sports in the ChromaSport PDFL League Cup on Saturday.

A Josh Ford penalty wasn’t enough for Harrox, who saw their run of nine wins and nine clean sheets in a row blown away by goals from Dan Roberts, Billy Barnes and Louie Garner.

Also beaten in the cup were Crowland Town, who went down 3-2 at home against Deeping Rangers Reserves.

Strikes from Sam Leggatt and Juliano Resta couldn’t stop the hosts being beaten by a late Ben Porter goal at Snowden Field.

Holbeach United Reserves bucked the trend as they saw off Stamford Lions 2-1.

Goals from Oliver Foster and Kieron McConnell did the business for the Tigers at Borderville.

There was a day to forget for Crowland Town Reserves, as they were humbled 20-0 at Warboys Town in the League Cup. Jamie Darlow scored seven times in that one.

There was another cup loss for a South Holland side as Tydd slipped up 3-1 at Ramsey Town. Matt Eaton’s goal wasn’t enough for the visitors.

In Division Two, Long Sutton Athletic Reserves enjoyed a 2-0 win at Stilton United Reserves.

However, Holbeach United Sports slipped up 3-2 at Stanground Sports despite strikes from Connor Bell and Taylor Beveridge.

In Division Three, Tydd Reserves were held to a 1-1 draw at Leverington Sports Reserves and are ninth in the table.

Down in Division Four, Sutton Bridge United were handed a 4-1 reverse by hosts Uppingham Town Reserves.

Ben Thompson got the Bridge consolation.

In Division Five, Holbeach Bank enjoyed a 4-2 win over Ramsey Town Reserves with Josh Cross, Jack Earnshaw, Danny Hunt and Scott Stojanovic all netting.
