Marcus Parry scored his first goal since returning from long-term injury as Moulton Harrox Reserves stormed to a 7-1 success at Crowland Town Reserves on Saturday.
On a day when the ChromaSport PDFL was littered with promotion, Harrox’s second string were the big winners in Division One.
Both Martin Sandall and Louis Steadman struck hat-tricks for Moulton at Snowden Field, but Parry’s goal was a big moment in his comeback.
Jamie Steward grabbed the Crowland consolation.
Up in the Premier Division, struggling Long Sutton Athletic suffered a 5-0 defeat at second-placed Stilton United.
They remain bottom of the table with just seven points from 22 games.
In Division Two, Long Sutton Athletic Reserves went down 4-0 at Wittering Premiair Reserves.
Also on losing form were Tydd, who were handed a 4-2 home reverse by Park Farm Pumas in Division Three as both Andrew Cook and Rio Henson notched twice each.
In Division Five B, two goals from Dan Mason and a strike from Adores De Andros earned Holbeach Bank a 3-3 draw at Park Farm Pumas Reserves.
- All of the other fixtures across the divisions were postponed, including Moulton Harrox’s home game with Oakham United in the top tier.
Moulton, who were looking to bounce back from their shock defeat at Leverington Sports in the PDFL League Cup the previous week, visit Holbeach Reserves on Saturday (2pm).
