PDFL round-up: Casey seals key victory for Moulton, Sutton win again and Crowland race clear

Moulton Harrox moved back into the top four of the ChromaSport PDFL Premier Division with a battling 1-0 win at Thorney on Saturday.

A solitary strike from Jamie Casey got the job done for Kev Nottingham’s side as they moved to within five points of the top of the table.

In-form Long Sutton Athletic also climbed into eighth place by seeing off ICA Sports 3-1 at London Road.

Strikes from Stuart Brown, Jake Clitheroe and Jake Lally fired the Magpies to victory.

There was also a welcome win for rock-bottom Tydd, who defeated Cambridge FC 3-0 in the League Cup.

Kai Wysoczanski, Jamie Steward and Matthew Rose got the goals.

In Division One, leaders Crowland Town moved six points clear with a 5-0 victory at Moulton Harrox Reserves.

Harry Grigas (2), Lee Jackson (2) and sub Juliano Resta netted for them at Broad Lane.

At the other end of the table, Spalding Town lost 6-1 at home to Premiair despite a Deividas Bulas goal.

In Division Two, Crowland Town Reserves lost 4-2 at home to NECI, while Long Sutton Reserves drew 1-1 at Netherton Reserves.
