Passer by rescues dog from Coronation Channel

A dog was rescued from the Coronation Channel by a passer by this morning (Monday, April 25).

Lincolnshire Police and Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue were called to the waterway around 8.45am this morning after a report that a Labrador had got into trouble in the water.

However, by the time emergency services attended, a passer by had rescued the animal, police said.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “The dog is now safe with its owner.”
