Orchestra does amazing strings for charity

Three charities are better off thanks to a four-string Spalding group.

The Ukulele Orchestra of Spalding take part in numerous events and fundraising throughout the year.
Every year they count up what they’ve earned and donate it to charity.
This year’s benefactors are Tonic Health, Holbeach Hospital and Don’t Lose Hope.
Each received a cheque for £500.
“Thank you to all the representatives that were able to join us,” a spokesman for the orchestra said. “All monies that we raise during the year at our various events and gigs for others are returned to local causes.
“We still have some availability for bookings in 2025. Get in touch now booking.uoos@gmail.com”
Holbeach Hospital home manager Julie Scott and trustee John Dalton attended on behalf of the East Elloe Trust which oversees the hospital.
Julie said: “We are always grateful for donations like these, they make a big difference.
“If you haven’t been to hear the Ukulele Orchestra before, please do as they are fantastic.
“Thank you again from everyone at Holbeach Hospital.”
