Moulton is set to celebrate one of its biggest weekends in the calendar.
The Moulton Harvest Weekend, which is this year incorporating the Tractor Working Weekend, takes place across the village on Saturday and Sunday, September 16 and 17.
The tractors will be operating down Broad Lane (PE12 6PW) on both days from 10am to 4pm.
There will be a host of vehicles a steam engine on display, an exhibition of Pettit’s Moulton and tractor rides.
Also on the Saturday there will be the Moulton Vehicle Parade and village fete.
The latter starts at 11am on the green with charity stalls, games and around 20 craft stalls in the community centre.
The parade leaves the beacon at 1.30pm, going along Broad Lane, Westmoreland Road, through the village green along Bell Lane, Reynolds Gardens, along Bell Lane, Hatt Close, back along Bell Lane, along High Street, Station Road, Ashby Gardens, West Cobgate, and back to the Working Weekend field.
There will be 20 charity and craft stores at that field on Sunday.
A free shuttle bus will be on hand to take people between the village and working field.
Moulton Mill will also be open as will the church which is hosting its annual Harvest Flower Festival.
Volunteers are being sought to help run the event.
