Moulton hunt silverware after Louth victory

Moulton Harrox are on the hunt for silverware again after progressing to the next round of the Lincolnshire Junior Cup.
Second half goals from Declan Earth and sub Ben Nottingham ensured Moulton overturned a 1-0 deficit to beat Louth Town.
It’s ahead of this Saturday’s visit of Dor-Jan Peterborough and District League leaders FC Peterborough to the Harrox Playing Field.
Moulton are third, 11 points behind Peterborough but with three games in hand.
In the Premier Division last weekend, Crowland Town are in fourth after a 3-0 win at Holbeach United Reserves.
Harry Grigas scored two and Danny Firth one for Crowland.
Tydd drew 2-2 with Netherton United, Sam Cooper with the opener for the home side before Kai Scott-Henson netted a 65th minute equaliser.
In Division One, Holbeach United thrashed Peterborough Polonia 7-1 while there was also a 4-1 win for Pinchbeck United Reserves courtesy of a Martin Sandall double and goals from Jordan Heeley and Ryan Stanberry.
Whaplode Drove Rovers enjoyed a good win in Division Two, Charlie Parkes scored twice and Robert Hitchcock once as they won 3-0 at Oakham United Reserves.
Meanwhile Crowland Town and Tydd’s reserves both lost in goal fests.
There were 16 at Park Farm Pumas where Tydd’s second string lost 14-2, their efforts both from Ben Gibbons.
Crowland Reserves lost 9-3 at home to FC Hampton, Connor Hoddon coming off the bench to score twice in a second half that saw eight goals scored, six for the visitors.
Simon Acton netted for Crowland in the first half.
Long Sutton Athletic Reserves were also in a high scoring game, but are still bottom of Division Three after losing 7-4 at Hampton Reserves.
Jack Thomas scored two and James Ward and Adam Crane one while Ollie Brant scored six of Hampton’s seven.
In Division Two, Whaplode Drove Rovers Reserves picked up their second win of the season. Kai Bucknell’s goal giving them a 1-0 win over Deeping United A.
There was also a third win of the season for Holbeach Bank.
Deron Mazhindu netted twice and Danny Hunt once.
