Man suffers ‘serious facial injuries’ in Spalding attack

Police are looking for four men and a woman after a man in his 30s was attacked in Spalding at the weekend.

During the early hours of Sunday morning (January 5) at New Road, cordons were put in place while police investigated the assault.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said they received a call at 2.05am: “A man in his 30 received serious facial injuries, not believed to be life threatening.

“Cordons were in place at the junction of Broad Street and New Road.

“We believe four men and a woman may have been involved.”

Investigations are ongoing and police would like to hear from anyone with any information.
