Man suffered non-life threatening injuries in collision that closed A16

A man was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries following an incident that closed the A16 yesterday evening.

The incident involving a lorry and a car happened at Surfleet shortly after 4.30pm on Thursday, October 7.

The road remained closed until 10pm at night.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman, said: “We attended a collision between a lorry and a car on the A16 at Surfleet yesterday (7 October). This was reported to us at 16:37.

“One man was taken to hospital but his injuries were not life threatening.”
