Man slashed in face during town centre knife attack

A 20-year-old man was slashed in the face with a knife following an altercation in Spalding.

The man had to be taken to hospital for treatment following the incident occurred at around 4.30am on Saturday, March 9 in the vicinity of Double Street.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police, said: “At 4.30am a man was attacked with a knife and sustained a facial injury. He was taken to hospital.

“This happened following an altercation on Double Street and a group of men. The victim is in his 20s.”

Any witnesses are urged to contact 101 quoting reference number 63 of March 9.
