Man hospitalised and one arrested after assault in Spalding street

A man was hospitalised after an assault in a Spalding town centre street yesterday afternoon (Monday February 7).

The incident happened around 4.10pm on Station Street.

One male has been arrested following the incident while another was taken to hospital.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman, said: “Officers were called to a report of an assault yesterday afternoon, just after 4.10 pm, on Station Street, Spalding.

“One man has been taken to hospital with injuries, which at this time, are not thought to be life threatening.

“One man, has been arrested and remains in custody.”
