A man had to be airlifted to hospital after reportedly having a fall in Spalding.
The Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance was called to the incident which happened close to Horseshoe Road just before 11.20am on Sunday, April 19.
It was seen landing in nearby allotments.
The extent of the man’s injuries or illness has not been revealed.
A spokesperson for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance said: “On Sunday, April 19, the Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance was dispatched to a patient who had fallen near Spalding just before 11.20am.
“Our Air Ambulance arrived on scene in just 17 minutes, a journey that by land could have taken up to an hour.
“Our crew treated the patient with specialist equipment before airlifting them to Queens Medical Centre, Nottingham in just 20 minutes, a journey that by land could have taken over an hour.
“This was one of four potentially life-saving missions our crew undertook on Sunday, including one mission at night.
“The life-saving work of the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance is only possible thanks to the generosity of local people who continue to support our Charity.
“As we monitor developments with the COVID-19 pandemic, we remain committed to providing a pre-hospital critical care response.”
