Makers market heads back to town centre

A popular makers’ market is set to return to Spalding on Sunday.

It will be hosted at the Sessions House and will celebrate the best local independent makers, food producers, creatives and artists in the county.
More than 35 stall-holders will be arriving at the former court building.
Among those taking part will be a range of artisans including ceramics, candles, illustrators, artists, woodworkers, florists, jewellers, homewares, decor and accessories.
There will be something to suit every budget for Christmas shopping – from something small to a bespoke, custom creation.
Caterers will include Spalding-based roasters Jackalope Joe Coffee Co, serving hot drinks throughout the day.
The Cheesy Pig will be offering loaded fries and pulled pork.
The historic building will be decked out in full Christmas decorations.
To add to the festive feeling of the event there will be live musicians performing in the courtyard.
The market will run from 10am to 3pm on Sunday and there is no admission charge.
So whether you are looking for a unique Christmas decoration, something lovely to eat, a quirky item for the home, it’s worth a visit.
