Loss for Crowland at leaders

Most of the games in the GCE Peterborough and District Football League were called off, but there was some action.

Crowland Town were at home to league leaders and reigning champions Uppingham Town. Despite an Archie Rickards double, they succumbed to a 3-2 defeat.
Sutton Bridge United lost by the same score at home to Oakham United Reserves in Division Two.
Mark Garner and Ben Partridge netted for Sutton Bridge.
There was defeat too for Long Sutton Athletic Reserves in Division Three.
Calvin Bird netted off the bench but Netherton United A were comfortable 5-1 winners.
There was a full fixture in the Sunday League.
Crowland Town moved third in the league with a 2-1 win at South Holland United.
Alfie Cato scored for South Holland.
Crowland are just below CSKA Emneth who drew 2-2 with Cardea.
CSKA’s reserves, who are also in the division, won 8-3 at home to PSV Rangers.
