Long Sutton home hit by fire

Firefighters were called to a blaze at a Long Sutton home last night (Saturday).

Crews from Holbeach and Long Sutton attended London Road after being called at 8.40pm.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue say the lounge of the home suffered severe fire damage while there was smoke and heat damage to the rest of the property.

A spokesman said: “Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and thermal imaging cameras to extinguish the fire.”
