Local Age UK branch hosting sessions to hear what South Holland’s elderly want

A charity is looking to speak to the elderly in the area to find out what they need and which issues are especially important to them at this time.

Lincoln and South Lincolnshire Age UK is hosting a ‘focus group’ at the Chappell Centre on Tuesday, May 17.

The sessions are at 10am to 12pm and 2pm to 4pm at the Pinchbeck Road venue.

A spokesman said: “Join us for a hot drink, some biscuits and a chance to discuss in person activities and social groups you would love to attend.

“Interested in volunteering to run a session or activity? We would love to meet you then too.”

To book a place call 03455 564144. You can also visit www.ageuk.org.uk/lincolnshiresouthlincolnshire

  • The charity is to also hold a special Jubilee Afternoon Tea Party at the Lime Court Community Centre. It’s to take place from 2pm to 4.15pm on Friday May 27. To book a place contact Park Street Reception on the number above.
