Lions celebrate achievements of the district’s determined children

A local charity group has celebrated some of the district’s most determined young people with its annual awards.

The Spalding Lions Walk Tall awards each year celebrate youngsters in their final year of school who have succeeded in exceptional circumstances.

Spalding Lions’ Elaine Mothers said: “Spalding Lions sponsor an Annual Prize for pupils in their final year of school to celebrate those who have achieved success through grit and determination.

“All schools in the area are invited to take part and the children are nominated by the Staff at the schools. Each child put forward for the award receives a certificate and a voucher. Spalding Lions would like to thank all the Schools that took part.”
