Lions celebrate 52nd charter

Spalding Lions Club held their 52nd Charter Evening Celebration last weekend.
Spalding Lions President Michele Elvin, with her husband Lion Sean Elvin hosted the evening and they were joined by fellow Spalding Lions and their guests, District Governor Elect Lion Paul Southerton and wife Sue, Lion Kevin Cross and wife Val, President Elect Rotarian Diana Ridpath, Rotarian Howard Gelley and members of Lions Clubs from Bourne, Braintree, Grantham, Hunstanton, Littleport, Peterborough and The Deepings.
The event took place at The Woodlands Hotel in Spalding and a three-course meal, dancing, games and raffle were enjoyed during the evening.
Spalding Lions would like to thank The Woodlands Hotel for their ‘wonderful hospitality.’
