Like cricket? Why not give Pinchbeck CC a try in the 2017 season

Pinchbeck Cricket Club are looking to recruit players for the upcoming 2017 season.

The club, which plays in Division Two of the South Lincs and Border League, is welcoming all players aged 14 and over to give them a try.

Whether you fancy trying cricket for the first time or are looking for a club, Pinchbeck would love to hear from you.

Their home games are played at Spalding Grammar School, with away games played a differing locations across South Lincolnshire.

The match format is 45 overs per side, with a game typically lasting from 1pm until 7pm on Saturdays throughout the summer.

There will be three Sunday fixtures and four weekends off, too.

Tea (food and drink) is provided between innings at every match.

The season gets under way with a trip to Heckington on May 5 and will finish with another away date at Belton Park on September 17.

There will be some social activities planned throughout the year, too.

If that sounds of interest, Pinchbeck get their indoor net sessions under way on March 13.

They are held at Spalding Grammar, with times TBC.
