Letters – Thanks for helping my injured grand-daughter

On Sunday my 18-year-old granddaughter was involved in a car accident on the A1101 between Long Sutton and Wisbech at about 12pm.

She suffered a broken collar bone and a collapsed lung but hopefully she will soon make a full recovery.

I would just like to thank Sam and her partner who allowed my granddaughter and the little girl from the other vehicle to use their car while they waited for the emergency services.

Thanks also to Sean Gedney for his advice and help.

Thanks to the paramedics, police and fire brigade, who had to cut two casualties from the other car, and thanks to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King’s Lynn, for the amazing care they gave my granddaughter.

I am very grateful to everyone.
