LETTERS – Thanks for flowers; please be less greedy

We had been out shopping and when we got home someone had left us some flowers – we could not believe it!

We would like to thank the person very, very much. It was uplifting to know someone cares with this invisible enemy we have all over the world.

Thank you – you have a heart of gold.

I would like to say to the families of people who have died how sorry we are that your loved ones have lost their lives.

And a big thank you to the NHS and the people that are helping to combat this epidemic across the world.

It’s a shame that people are being so damn greedy thinking of themselves and panic buying.

I waited for Savers to open the other day – all I wanted was some paracetamol and a pack of toilet rolls.

Why were Savers allowing people to buy two packs of toilet rolls with 20 in each pack? Within a short time they had all gone.

I put this down to greed. Why does anyone want 40 toilet rolls?

I am ashamed of Savers giving two packs to everyone. If they had limited it to one pack each a lot more people could have had some.

I am so pleased the shops are only letting so many people in and limiting what they can have.

I am coming up to 69. If they knew of my condition and other people like me they would not do this.

Last point, I cannot get paracetamol tablets anywhere. I use them with morphine to stop the pain.

I am left now with only one box. Why are the chemists giving two lots per person? As soon as they are in the chemist they have gone.

Please think twice before being so greedy.
