LETTERS – Criminals should be named

In this period of major upheaval we are hearing and seeing many people making gains from others’ misfortunes, or even outright criminal acts.

I do hope your paper, should these offenders be apprehended and dealt with at court and their names be known, will make public who they are and what they have done so that at least some stigma attaches to these offenders.

Too often, offenders do not realise what the consequences of their actions have been and perhaps this identification may be a warning that they cannot get away scot free.
