LETTERS – Politics weren’t the point

I’m pleased to say at least one person read my letter (April 4) regarding the Lincolnshire flag.
Sadly though, Mr Tippler’s reply was more of a party political rant regarding the state of our nation, which to my mind bears no relationship to the point I raised.
Yes, we know a lot of things could be better in our country but tell me, how does that relate to being proud of your village, town or indeed the county in which you live?
I can guess your political persuasion Mr Tippler and no prizes for guessing who you won’t be voting for in any forthcoming elections.
