LETTERS – Plastic bags are just fine with me

I applaud the South Holland District Council’s stand on wheelie bins.

I lived in Norfolk and we had bins. You had to store it somewhere and regular cleaning was necessary.

The Norfolk Council then decided bins must be presented with lids closed. Never mind if you had the family up for the weekend and had more refuse to dispose of, closed bins only.

Welcome to Lincolnshire and plastic refuse bags, user-friendly dustmen who will take any extras too. Three bags? No problem.

Please don’t change the present system.
