LETTERS – No booking at King’s Lynn tip

I read the letters regarding the booking system at Spalding tip with some slight incredulity.

The tip at King’s Lynn near the power station operates no such silly system of booking slots. You just turn up and put rubbish in the appropriate skips and leave.

Sometimes there is a queue, but that is down to COVID-19 at present.

The tip is also in a sensible place, not on the edge of a main road, and I think it is run by a private firm, not the county council, which says it all.
