It has been brought to the attention of a number of members of the Spalding Services and Social Club, High Street, Spalding, that on lockdown in March, a certain amount of the committee members and one or two members were in the club drinking. They were let in and served while playing snooker in the snooker room.
This was breaking government and club rules. The police were called and attended twice.
These committee members were warned that if they were caught again we could face a substantial fine and possible loss of the club licence.
Is this how we want our club to be run? By some committee members and members that do not appreciate the club, only for their own ends.
These committee members should have a vote of no confidence for putting the club in a position of being fined and possible loss of the licence and the offending members suspended.
