LETTERS – Humiliation, spineless or gutless

I read the report in the Voice last week on the planning decision for a site at Crowland by Ashwood Homes for a revised plan having built dwellings in the wrong place.
How this can happen in this day and age with GPS is beyond belief but SHDC approved the new plan, surely Ashwood should have been told to take them down and build to original plans?
This makes a complete mockery of the planning department. Is it telling everyone to build, then put your plan in and it will be approved?
The chairman of SHDC planning Coun Avery said it’s a buggeration, I think humiliation, spineless or gutless would be better to describe the outcome.
