I read in The Voice on February 3, page 5 that The Holbeach Friday Club’s hard earned money has been shared out with The Meadows in Spalding – why?
This money should stay in Holbeach. The Friday club was supported by the people of Holbeach and all the volunteers were from Holbeach. Why oh why has the money gone to a day care centre in Spalding? They don’t even pick up day-care attenders from Holbeach.
I was personally involved with the Friday Club for a considerable amount of time.
Fundraising was always on the agenda and what for? I for one am not happy with the way things have turned out as I’m sure lots of other Holbeach people will not be.
As for our local Holbeach councillors getting in on a photoshoot under the circumstance amazes me but who am I to judge their motives?
