LETTER: 6am rubbish collections is stupid idea

I don’t know how the council came up with the idea to put rubbish bags out at 6am but it is one of the most stupid ones yet.

People will put their bags out the night before, which will encourage cats, birds and rats to rip them open, which means even more rubbish on our roads that the residents will have to clear up.

Then if we do have a rodent infestation I do not suppose the council will pay to have them dealt with.
