Knights enjoy ‘home’ comforts in Sleaford

Pinchbeck United moved to within a point of the top three in Division One of the United Counties League on Tuesday.

It came thanks to a 4-1 win against West Bridgford, to stretch their unbeaten run at their temporary Sleaford home in all competitions to eight games.

An own goal on the stroke of half-time gave them the advantage and Flynn Slater doubled the lead soon after the break. Elliot Foster made it 3-0 with four minutes to go before the visitors pulled one back. Ben Howlett completed the scoring deep into stoppage time.

Defender Charlie Brooks took the man of the match award on Saturday when the Knights held
high-flying Coalville Town to a goalless draw.
