Knights defeated

Pinchbeck United lost 1-0 at home to Haverhill Rovers in the Thurlow Nunn Division One North on Saturday.

Despite a battling performance that saw the Knights create chances, they were unable to take any.
A second half strike from Haverhill’s Shaun Avis from close range on the hour mark gave the visitors all three points.
Pinchbeck threw everything at Haverhill, particularly after they had Jordan Baker sent off with five minutes remaining.
But the Knights were unable to find the equaliser.
They’ll look to get back to winning ways when they visit Wivenhoe Town on Saturday.
The sides drew 1-1 when they met on the opening day of the season.
Knights: Martin, Jaine, Balding, Melson, Brooks, Wallace, Howlett, Stevens, Slater, Cullen, Gagyi. Subs: Panton, Cranfield, Kacirek, Abayomi, Barker.
Attendance: 75.
